In the old code, we used the following format to get the historical data:

"HM"+(char)5+symbol+(char)5+days+(char)5+interval+(char)6
or
"HD"+(char)5+symbol+(char)5+days+(char)6

it does not work now.

I have changed it to

"HID"+(char)5+symbol+(char)5+days+(char)5+interval+(char)6
or
"HDX"+(char)5+symbol+(char)5+days+(char)6

but it is still not working - hangs up at socket reading.

If there is a change in protocol delimiters or something else?

At the same time, DDE link and all IQLink diagnostics work just fine.

It sounds like you are confused about which commands to send to which ports.

The commands you posted are for retrieving historical data and should be sent to the Lookup Port.

If you want those commands to work, take a look at the top of the "Historical via TCP/IP" documentation for setting up to retrieve historical data.

If you are looking for streaming data (as your post title indicates), take a look at the documentation for "Initialzing for TCP/IP" and "Level 1 via TCP/IP".

Let me know if you have additional questions.
