Really simple one here, but I couldn't find an answer in the help section...

I want to pull up charts of the VIX (volatility index), in 1 & 5 minute and daily intervals. On my DTNIQ setup, the symbol is VIX.XO, which works fine. That symbol doesn't work with ProphetX. Tried VIX, which came up in daily format, and might be it, but it stops in May 18, 2007 for some reason, and also won't come up in a minute interval.

Ideas??

The symbol for the VIX in ProphetX is VIX.X. The CBOE Indexes are an add-on exchange entitlement as well, which may be why you weren't seeing the data intraday. Please call customoer support today and they can check over your account and ensure you are entitled properly for the data you need.

Ok, Jay, just got off the phone w/Curtis, got straightened out...

* Symbology issues (again), in that different software, different brokerages use different symbols for the same stuff. So, in this case, Iqfeed/VIX.XO = ProphexX/VIX.X
So, I was close but no cigar.

Thanks for the quick response and also to Curtis for the over-the-phone help.
