Hi - thought I posted this yesterday, but it's nowhere to be found, so am reposting:

I'd like to draw a short horizontal line on a basic chart. The only thing I've found is horizontal trendlines, which are drawn from one side of the chart to the other, which is way too long for what I need.

So, how do I do the above? Say, on a daily bar chart, a horizontal line connecting 5-10 bars only.

Under File and Preferrences, go to Charts and then Line Studies.
For the General Trendline settings, make sure both 'Extend line left' and 'Extend line right' boxes are unchecked. Now, if you go to your chart and draw a Trendline it will only connect the 2 points you select.
