Hi all,

I did the following:

- Signed up for a trial of IQFeed
- Got the email with my username and password
- Waited an hour or two
- Downloaded the latest IQFeed software from here: http://www.iqfeed.net/index.cfm?displayaction=support§ion=download
- Ran the software, and entered the aforementioned username and password.
- Got the following error:

Sorry, your Product and/or Service for the attempted login are incorrect. If you have recently changed products you may also need to change your type of service. Please contact DTN customer support for assistance. (1)

See attached screenshot.

Should the above steps have been successful? I asked DTN tech support, and they told me that IQFeed only works with third party software. All I want to do is login, and write my own software.

All sorted now. I was using the IQFEED_DEMO product ID, which DTN apparently disabled some time ago.

Hello,

I have exactly the same problem, but I don't really know what ferguscan meant with IQFEED_DEMO product ID. I just have the username/password I got in the email and can't login with that.
