Create the current bar/candle in history data. Jan 7, 2006 08:26 AM

Please consider creating the partial last bar/candle to reflect the current albeit unfinished candle. The work required for the developers to do this is quite unnecessary. For instance, if a weekly history request is made and it is thursday midday, the reponse will only send the last bar through wednesday and not reflect the intraday thursday. It would be extremely powerful to have this data come as the last bar (perhaps as an option for those who like it as it is). Otherwise, one must refer to the summary message (a completely different call to a completely different socket) and applied its OHLCV data appropriately, even if one is not interested in 'watching' the symbol going further. If the candle has not started then the OHLC would all be equal to the CLOSE of the last candle and the volume would be 0. This suggestion would be for all timeframes except Tick. Thanks Andy Savage

AMERISOURCE BERGEN CORP (Symbol ABC) looks likes it had a split not accounted for in your data. On 12/28/05 it traded about $83 then on 12/29/05 it traded at $41.

I am trying to obtain option Symbols for QQQQ. It has been working since 3 AM. but now appears to be having problems starting ~ 5:15 AM EST. I believe this happened yesterday as well, but seem to clear up later in the morning. Is there some kind of maintenance happening in this time window or am I not as sharp this early in the morning? I am trying to get the VbDotNetLevel1Com project to work. When I press [Register Client App] I get the IQFEED 4.0 connect/login form and I get "Failure retrieving login information". The login I am using is the same login I use w/ Medved QuoteTracker (QT) on the same machine. In fact, if I let QT connect first, everything works. Any Ideas? |
