"I ran your IQFeed DDE vs. my broker vs. a level II window for some slow-moving options. I would see the level II quote change, then your feed update instantaneously. My broker's DDE, however, would take as much as 30 seconds to update. I am not chasing milliseconds, but half a minute is unacceptable." - Comment from Rob

Could someone tell me the difference between Tenfore ABBA and COMP symbols for forex, for example EURUSD.ABBA and EURUSD.COMP - how are these calculated?

Hello one541
We will have our data team look into how the ABBA average best/bid ask and the COMP composite are calculated on the Tenfore. We will have an answer within 24 hours
Thanks
Todd

Thank you for your forum post.

ABBA - Is a Calculation or the average bid and ask quote calculated by TENFORE.

COMP - Is a composite of the bid/ask which it shows the latest (Current) bid/ask from one of the contributors.

The COMP is always the most current quote.

http://iqfeed.net/symbolguide/index.cfm?symbolguide=guide&displayaction=support§ion=guide&web=iqfeed&guide=forex&web=IQFeed&symbolguide=guide&displayaction=support§ion=guide&type=TENFORE

If you navigate to this link and scroll about 1/2 way down the page there is a great reference tool for the different contributors and banks for Tenfore.

Have a great rest of your day.
