"Just a quick one to say I'm very impressed so far :) The documentation for developers is excellent and I've quickly managed to get an app written to do historical downloads. The system is very robust and pretty quick considering the extent of data that's available. The support guys have been very helpful too, in combination with the forums it's been plain sailing so far!" - Comment from Adam

Your assumptions are correct. I've sent a copy of my VS 2008 project (C#) to developer support, removing as much non-relevant code as possible, while still producing the error.
I'm consistently crashing IQConnect. This occurs after successful initialization for TCP/IP, enabling streaming news, and several headlines successfully received. My code also sends NNT messages and successfully receives news stories - one for each streaming headline, up to 200 or more before IQConnect crashes. Some initial screen captures are attached.
I'm using the following command to retrieve historical news headlines:
NHT:CPR:2000:20080804;
The result is as follows:
N,CPR,12346700,:CMCO:,20080807220000,Columbus McKinnon to Present at the CJS Securities 8th Annual New Ideas Summer Conference on August 12, 2008 N,CPR,12346680,,20080807220000,Following Is a Test Release N,CPR,12346679,,20080807214400,B2W Announces a Growth of 39% of Gross Revenue, 50% of EBITDA and an Improvement of 42 Days on the Cash Conversion Cycle in 2Q08 . . . The total number of headlines is less than the limit I specified in the NHT command, yet no data is returned prior to 8/7/2008 at 9:20am. Is there a way to get additional history?
Yes
I’m unable to detect a trading halt. For example, IMCL halted trading on 7/31 at 9:35AM EDT, and resumed trading at 11:50AM, but I didn’t receive either the Quote Status bit 12 set or the Market Condition MC_HALT code. I receive other Quote Status and Market Condition codes OK, just not trade halt codes. Is there something else I need to do to receive trading halt information?
I'm receiving a trial of the Dow Jones news feed via satellite, and have noticed that the feed appears to be delayed at certain times of the day. At the start of trading, the DTN file header timestamp for a given news story is generally within 1 or 2 seconds of the time I receive the news. Usually about an hour later, the lag increases to a half hour or more, then returns to normal. For example, on 7/26, a news file was received at 10:29:46, and the header timestamp was 10:29:46. The next news file with a header timestamp of 10:30:35 wasn't received until 10:48:11. Do you know why this could be happening?
