Can somebody tell me exactly when field 26 of the update message (market center) actually stopped having valid data? Also, I'd like to know when it was deprecated? Thanks, r.

Hi, I'm wondering what I can assume about the original ordering of update messages with the same timestamp. I can see a few options: 1) no ordering can be assumed 2) updates from each market center are ordered with respect to each other only, however, trade, bid and ask updates must be computed separately based on the update type and the appropriate market center code (fields 63-65) 3) all updates are ordered correctly Any ideas? If I make a request using the TCP/IP interface such as "HT,ESV,1;" I will get the correct data terminated by an "!ENDMSG!" line. However, if I send another request on the same connection such as "HT,RIG,1;" I immediately get a "!SYNTAX_ERROR!" response. This occurs both within my Java program and from a telnet session. Has anybody else seen this problem? Any ideas what could be going on? |
