This is my second post:
From some of the posts, it seems that DTN also provides Satellite Data feed service which allow up to 3000 symbols quote data to be retrieved at one time with higher cost ($138?).
I am developping a trading software for a trading firm and they are interested in this service
My question: how to install the sevice on our site? Do we need to buy dish, receiver, plug-in card for PC? If we already have a dish to receive dish network TV, can we use it?
One more question: can I get Index quote (DJ and NASDAQ) from your service in addition to stock quote?
Thanks for your help.

Yes. We have a satellite datafeed. It is $200 init fee which includes the dish and hardware required (its a 1 meter dish, not the same as the TV dishes). The service starts at $129 per month for real time indices and equities. However, this is for personal use only. If you are using the feed for redistribution or passing it into a trading system, there are additional fees. In order to write code for the feed you will need the SDK, which is $400. There are no symbol limits as it is a full broadcast feed. The DJ and Nasdaq are part of the index feed.

Thank you.
If the trading firm uses my trading softwware, they will subscribe the data feed service, not me. I am only develop the software for them based on their requirement. Of course, additional work has to be down for satellite data reception.
I will pass the information to them and they will contact you later after I finished all my work.
