DTN has recently released a major upgrade to its DTN.IQ and IQFeed services with the availability of futures market depth. Available to 3rd party software through the IQFeed API and viewable in the DTN.IQ client, the IQ market depth service gives traders insight into liquidity and quote volume of futures contracts beyond just the “best” bid and ask.

In today’s fast markets, it is critical for traders to have the fastest and most detailed information available. With the recent upgrades, DTN continues to increase the advantage its customers have over traders using slower, aggregated broker feeds. Over 30 high quality analytics and trading platforms recommend the IQFeed data service and thousands of brokers and traders utilize IQFeed as their primary data feed. DTN customers are assured to have the best trading edge available.

DTN’s developers have been busy adding more capacity, data and functionality. Here is a brief summary of recent enhancements to our IQFeed services:

  • Added Second Resolution time-stamping in history and streaming data

  • Added Automatic tick correction in our historical data to provide significantly cleaner data

  • Added continuous contracts for eminis and other contracts

  • Added futures market depth

  • Increased intraday history going back as much as 2.5 years of minute data on the emini

  • Dozens of new servers have been added to accommodate increased market volumes and record numbers of new customers

  • Updated the IQFeed client to reduce CPU utilization and increase speed and reliability
