Hello,
Ever since I upgraded to the latest IQFeed, v4.6.1.0, it has been crashing occasionally on me: Every few hours, and only during market hours. The crash comes with a standard Windows error message, "This program ... must be shut down." (I can get the exact wording if you need, but it is nothing special).
I only use IQFeed with QuoteTracker, the latest version 3.9.5 . The previous version of IQFeed I had, 4.6.0.7, never had any troubles even once.
Helllp :)
I'm using Windows XP Professional x64 Edition, version 2003 SP2, in an Administrator account.
Thanks, - Mike

Hello Mike, with this error message, does IQFeed shut down or does QT or both? How many symbols are you tracking within QT, i.e; how many on the portfolio page, how many charts do you have open and how many studies per chart?

Only IQFeed crashes.
I was always tracking about 15-25 symbols using; 15-20 of those had charts open; and just the basic data for each chart: quote and volume.
I occasionally backfill a chart using IQFeed: using either "tick backfill" or non-tick (consolidated 15-second) backfill. This last market session I actually experienced no crashes.
