max -Interested User- Posts: 8 Joined: Aug 6, 2011	Posted: Aug 7, 2011 09:33 AM Msg. 1 of 3 Hi first,sorry if this is the wrong section,but i didn't find nothing on it I'd like to know some info about nanex's historical data. i tried to send an email 1 month ago but no responding yet. I am interested to ticks data , with bid & ask . I mean the same i receive from IQFEED client , in order to use it with some applications as NinjaTrader or Multicharts making some studies . example :ES data of 2008-2009-2010 thanks Edited by max on Aug 7, 2011 at 09:35 AM
DTN_Jay_Froscheiser -VP, Product Operations- Posts: 1746 Joined: May 3, 2004 DTN IQFeed/DTN.IQ/DTN NxCore	Posted: Aug 8, 2011 08:45 AM Msg. 2 of 3 Max, Unfortunately NxCore and IQFeed don't share the same API. Thus, software such as NinjaTrader and Multicharts which support IQFeed aren't compatible with NxCore. With NxCore, we provide a full market datafeed and the ability to buy historical "tapes" which include every message received as if it were real time (a complete recording of the data as it occurred). Thus, you are getting both trades and quotes. On NxCore, we can sell you historical tick data which includes the bid/ask but it normally is sold on an exchange basis (as opposed to by symbol). Again, it won't be in the IQFeed format however. If you are interested in NxCore, please visit www.nanex.net and click on the Sales Link for the 800# or email address for sales.
