Hi,

I had a couple of question regarding the NYA Composite data.

1) I was wondering if someone could explain to me the exact difference between the following symbols:

DI7T.Z NYA COMPOSITE $ VOL TOTAL
II7T.Z NYA COMPOSITE ISSUES TOTAL
VI7T.Z NYA COMPOSITE ISSUES VOLUME TOTAL

What is the "$ VOL" for DI7T.Z vs "ISSUES VOLUME for VI7T.Z?

I basically want the total volume for all the shares listed in the NYA Composite. Would the correct one be II7T.Z?

2) Is there data prior 5-16-2011, or is that the earliest available?

3) Would you know what the smallest granularity of this data is in time, ie. collected every 15 s?

Thanks,

Steve

Hi Steve1986,

DI7T.Z = Sum of (Price of the stock x volume) for all issues, up, down and unchanged.
$ VOL = Price of the stock x volume

II7T.Z = Number of up issues (companies) + down issues + unchanged issues
VI7T.Z = Total volume of all issues – up, down, and unchanged

Total volume for all stocks on NYA Composite would be VI7T.Z.

I do show that the daily data for all 3 starts at 5-16-2011 and that is the earliest that we have available.
And I show that all 3 indicators come through every second.

I hope that helps and let me know if you have further questions.
