IQFeed 5.2.0.9 is now available for all users on our download page at http://www.iqfeed.net. The IQFeed development team has spent quite a bit of time working to improve the connection logic and make IQFeed overall more efficient and reliable. In addition, we also now support Millisecond timestamps from the exchanges in which we receive it. IQFeed is now faster, more precise and just better in every way!

1. Stability – There was extensive work done in this release to fix crashes and hangs in IQFeed 5.1. These fixes were especially focused around the connection/disconnection/re-connection logic when internet outages occur.
2. Microseconds – time precision down to 1µs for any exchange that provides it to us.
3. Speed – In our internal benchmarks for IQFeed 5.2, it delivers Level 1 data quicker than 5.1 (of course, we are talking microseconds of improvement since 5.1 was already pretty speedy).
4. Leaner – IQFeed 5.2 uses less memory than 5.1
