Hello there,
While i am collecting realtime datafeed into my dtabase , some tics get skipped. I have been using visual basic. Could it be that its because i am using vb its slower? Because whenver i update my tables for relatime data, there is like 2-3 minutes of delay.
Whats the best configuration to collect data stream into the ms sql server. Would it be faster & more efficient if i use c++ api? Please let me know if there is any known best configuration to collect data stream.

Thank You,
Suma

i seriously doubt Visual Basic is your issue. but i've never used it so thats just a guess.

there should be no delay if you are using sockets, but i imagine you're using COM? i have no knowledge of the COM interface.
