"I ran your IQFeed DDE vs. my broker vs. a level II window for some slow-moving options. I would see the level II quote change, then your feed update instantaneously. My broker's DDE, however, would take as much as 30 seconds to update. I am not chasing milliseconds, but half a minute is unacceptable." - Comment from Rob

Hi,

I am having a strange problem with my API. I am using the code provided by IQfeed 4.0 - Level 1 COM (Visual Basic).

All i have been doing is trying to extract data stream for 100 symbols. But the API does not seem to behave stable for more than

10-12 symbols. And i am not logging in as 'IQFEED_DEMO', I have my own username. Still API gets reall unstable after certain number of symbols ., the screen gets stuck & does not repond. All I am doing is trying to watch tics on the screen and nothing else.

But If I run the same API separately 10 times with 10 different screens (each watching 10 different symbols) - Its seems to have a stable inflow of data with each API collecting 10 symbols ( and this way i get 10*10 = 100) symbols.

Please explain why this is happening & why is it not possible to capture all 100 symbols on the same API

Thanks,

Suma Gowda
