In response to your second question IQ Feed does not save bid/ask quotes historically. You however can capture the quotes in the live stream and save them to a database.

There are numerous sources of this information within the news feeds, our notifies section of the symbol guide as well as fundamental data in the data stream.

• Within News, you will find various corporate action stories from PR Newswire and Business Wire as press releases are released by the company. From Rea-Time Traders news there is a corporate actions section. Overall you will find thousands of stories each data that are included in our base service.

• On our website, if you go to the Symbol Guide towards the bottom of the page there is the Notifies section. There you will find various stock symbol changes.

• In the stream we include many fields of Fundamental data that includes the past split numbers and dates. Dividend information is also available as long as you are entitled for the Extended Fundamental Data service for $5/mo.

The API license contains sample code in several programming languages and works via TCP/Socket connections so it is very easy to work with.
