"I am very pleased with the DTNIQ system for quotes and news." - Comment from Larry
"Just a quick one to say I'm very impressed so far :) The documentation for developers is excellent and I've quickly managed to get an app written to do historical downloads. The system is very robust and pretty quick considering the extent of data that's available. The support guys have been very helpful too, in combination with the forums it's been plain sailing so far!" - Comment from Adam
"I just wanted to let u know that your data feed/service is by far the best!!! Your unfiltered tick data is excellent for reading order flow and none of your competitors delivers this quality of data!" - Comment from Peter via Email
"The people at Nirvana have very nice things to say about your company and I can see why! Price and service is a potent combination." - Comment from Ed
"With HUGE volume on AAPL and RIMM for 2 days, everyone in a trading room was whining about freezes, crashes and lag with *******, RealTick, TS and Cyber. InvestorRT with IQFeed was rock solid. I mean SOLID!" - Comment from Public IRC Chat
"If you want customer service that answers the phone, your best bet is IQFeed. I cannot stop praising them or their technical support. They are always there for you, and they are quick. I have used ****** too but the best value is IQFeed." - Comment from Public Forum
"Excellent datafeed !!!" - Comment from Arely
"As a past ******* customer(and not a happy one), IQ Feed by DTN is a much better and cheaper product with great customer support. I have had no problems at all since switching over." - Comment from Public Forum
"I am enjoying the feed very much - so superior to the broker provided feed I was previously using." - Comment from George
"Boy, probably spent a thousand hours trying to get ******* API to work right. And now two hours to have something running with IQFeed. Hmmm, guess I was pretty stupid to fight rather than switch all this time. And have gotten more customer service from you guys already than total from them… in five years." - Comment from Jim

g'morning! :)

..for some reason, i've noticed ima not getting any futures data
since logging-on last nite. ..doesn't matter what i do (re-start
dtniq, p.c etc) the usual routines do not rectify the problem, eh! 8(
(non-futures data = streaming ok tho)

..my trading platform on another p.c is feeding along just fine, so
it seems to me the problem must be.. at your end - any thoughts!?!?

Data and Content Support » failure retrieving ip information.. Dec 29, 2010 11:35 PM (Total replies: 2)

alright, so now we know itsa my end, and itsa something new/not seen here before.

before telling me to upgrade versions again ];), is there a way to clear that 'cached
routing table' manually, by chance?

after about a good dozen re-takes, the thing finally did kick-in, although much too
slowly to convince me everything's alright as before the adventure began.

..we'll see how far along it hobbles along for now, and meanwhile get to work on
trying to remember steps to properly upgrade versions, indeed --

We recently switched most of our servers to a new IP address range for our IQ servers. This weekend, we will complete the switchover which will remove support completely for the old IP address ranges.

If you haven't already, please make sure you don't have anything hard coded to the old IP range.

Here are the current IP's and ports needed to properly operate the latest versions of DTN.IQ and IQFeed:

Primary Server Farm IP Range: 66.112.156.x
Backup Server Farm IP Range: 66.112.148.x

Ports required to operate:
60,000-60,020 AND 60,050

..any luck?

just re-checked & still same 4mb file even tho referenced
as 7mb file later on page; there was a 7mb there previously, eh ;)?

DTN.IQ Client Software Support » Download DTN.IQ 2.7.0.3 Aug 22, 2010 10:07 AM (Total replies: 4)

hiyas! :)

..i just noticed something & wondered:

the latest version of iqsetup2703.exe off the web-page is about 4.3mb
even tho a bit further down the page it says it oughta be about 7mb -
which it was back a few months ago when i first downloaded it, eh.

does it matter which version of the same file i run now - the original 7mb
or this newer 4mb??

thanks 4 clarifying!

hiyas all! :)

looks like the feed froze here around 321pm (eastern), and was just wondering
ifn the glitch was from over there.. everything is fine now after re-booting, so
