"If someone needs the best quality data and backfill beyond what their broker provides at a rate that is the best in the industry, I highly recommend IQFeed." - Comment from Josh via Public Forum
"If you are serious about your trading I would not rely on IB data for serious daytrading. Took me a while to justify the cost of IQ Feed and in the end, it's just a 2 point stop on ES. Better safe than sorry" - Comment from Public Forum
"Thanks for the great product and support. During this week of high volume trading, my QuoteTracker + IQ Feed setup never missed a beat. Also, thanks for your swiftness in responding to data issues. I was on ******* for a few years before I made the switch over early this year, and wish I had done it a long time ago." - Comment from Ken

I am running Sierra Chart version 251. Every morning when I start up, I have edit the data because it is not updating properly. Sierra had me send them a log and couldn't find a problem. Attached is a link with the transcript and log. Using version 4.2.1.4

Please help.

Thank you.

Hello,

I would first suggest downloading the current version of IQ Feed. http://www.iqfeed.net/index.cfm?displayaction=support§ion=download

If this does not correct the download issue, you will want to run the IQ Feed Diagnostics application. To do so, click on Start, All Programs, IQ Feed 4.3.0.3, then Diagnostics.

In the Test Equity field, use the symbol @YMH8, then click Test. Along the left hand side of the screen, you should see a series of checkmarks. DTN HistoryCOM should be checked. Please let me know the results of the diagnostics, a screenshot is helpful. It may be easier for you to contact us at support@iqfeed.net or by calling 1-800-763-9959.

Kind regards,

Sarah

The 1st thing, the @YMU7 is a expired contract, a invalid symbol now. Can you take it out of the symbol list. The rest of it we are looking at and will duplicate here to see.

I deleted the expired symbols. But so you know, I very rarely clear out the expired symbols and it has never been a problem.
