"Everything is working great ! Very impressive client. The news refreshes better and is more pertinent than the ******* feed I paid $ 100/month for. I Also like the charts a lot." - Comment from Leon
"If you want customer service that answers the phone, your best bet is IQFeed. I cannot stop praising them or their technical support. They are always there for you, and they are quick. I have used ****** too but the best value is IQFeed." - Comment from Public Forum
"Boy, probably spent a thousand hours trying to get ******* API to work right. And now two hours to have something running with IQFeed. Hmmm, guess I was pretty stupid to fight rather than switch all this time. And have gotten more customer service from you guys already than total from them… in five years." - Comment from Jim

Hello,

I have two newbie questions:

1) Is it possible to get quote conditions via IQFeed API (for example slow quote - LRP) ?

2) Is it possible to use one datafeed on two or three machines simultaneously (for example I have feed with 1000 symbols and wish to use it on two machines where iconnect of first getting 700 symbols and iqconnect of second getting 300 symbols)?

Thanks in advance.

1) Quote Conditions are currently only available in the Nasdaq Level 2 data available in the feed (not included in the basic subscription) and are currently somewhat limited in what they display.

2) Each machine that runs IQFeed requires a separate datafeed account (but does not require a separate API account) and due to exchange regulations against redistribution of data, IQConnect will only allow connections from the localhost network interface (so only connections that originate on the same machine that IQConnect runs on). So, essentially, it is possible to do what you want, but each machine would need it's own IQFeed loginID.

Hi, I have a unit appliction that need data feed from Iqfeed, I used to be able to run the iqfeed on pc and have my unix application connect pc and get the feed from there,

since now I can't get the feed from other system, other than the one is running the iqfeed. Wonder if there is a unit login option I can use? or how do I get the feed over the unix?

thanks.
