"I've been using IQFeed 4 in a multi-threaded situation for the last week or two on 2600 symbols or so with 100 simultaneous daily charts, and I have had 100% responsiveness." - Comment from Scott
"I ran your IQFeed DDE vs. my broker vs. a level II window for some slow-moving options. I would see the level II quote change, then your feed update instantaneously. My broker's DDE, however, would take as much as 30 seconds to update. I am not chasing milliseconds, but half a minute is unacceptable." - Comment from Rob
"You have an excellent product !!!!!!" - Comment from Arely
"I've been using Neoticker RT with IQFeed for two months, and I'm very happy with both of the products (I've had IQFeed for two years with very few complaints). The service from both companies is exceptional." - Comment from Public Forum

Hello - for some unknown(to me) reason, the VIX.XO symbol for the VIX volatility index is
slow in updating at market open. 20-30 minutes to get the first update.

* Watchlist - 'Last' field. Updates correctly for other stocks & indices. Essentially, the last tick trade number.

* Time&Sales - for '1 minute' intervals, it's just stuck. Typically takes >20 minutes for first update at market open.

* Same problem in Excel spreadsheet, value is '=IQLink|VIX.XO!Last'

Only work around(so far) is to manually hit the refresh button for T&S minute interval, at which time it'll do the update. Everything else in Watchlists, T&S, Excel is updating correctly, so don't see a problem on my end.

Current DTN/IQFeed levels, Win7, blah, blah, blah.

Could you all setup something and see what happens on your end at market open over the next couple of days?

Hello AMA, it sounds like you are not authorized for the CBOE Indexes to be in realtime. This would cause a 20 minute delay in the VIX.XO for you. This delay started on Jan 1st 2010, due to the CBOE requiring an exchnage fee for their Indexes. The current exchange fee is $4.50 per month. This delay also affects the S&P 500 index or SPX.XO and several others if you are watching them. If you would like to have this added to your account please send us an email with your Login ID and we can usually have it added to your account within the hour for you.

Thanks.
