I realize that the individual symbol components are now available to calculate breadth for COMPQ and NYSE (great! ) but what I really need is one symbol for each market that gives me market breadth, calculated. For example, eSignal gives me $ADD and $ADDQ.

I use QuoteTracker and I can't do calculations from the individual components to produce breadth.

So market breadth for COMPQ and NYSE would be just wonderful!

"Breadth indicators" is a fairly generic term used to describe the various calculated stats available. We have a couple hundred Breadth indicators. Can you give me the exact definition of the $ADD and $ADDQ symbols you are currently receiving. Is this the net advance/decline issues for the exchanges? If so, these are market stats we are looking at adding. If not, please provide the formula and we will take a look at implementing them as well.

Jay:

Yes, $ADDQ on eSig is net advance/decline of issues for COMPQ, $ADD is same for NYSE.

It would be great to get at least this indicator, someone else on the forum also had a more advanced formula that included volume, and that would be welcome too.

We have some new stats going live this weekend. I have been out all week, so I don't have all the details. I will post more details on Monday. In the meantime, here is some information about a few of the changes/additions. I need to find out if we added the NYSE and NASDAQ total adv/decl and will post Monday with that info.
See here for more info:
