Hello,
Noob here, and have a noob question. I keep getting this error message when I try communicating with admin port 5009 "E,6.0 is not a valid protocol.,". From what I can tell 6.0 is the current protocol. I am sending <CR><LF> correctly (I think). I tried sending the below string to port 5009 in python and golang but to no avail.

"S,SET PROTOCOL,6.0\r\n"

and still keep getting the same error message. Any help would be appreciated.

I mean port 9300 in all occurrences of port 5009.

Good morning,

Glad it is working now, but just to confirm you were just on the 5.2 client and trying to use the 6.0 protocol before?

Tim

No, only ever had the 5.2 proto, must have misread something leading me to believe that the current version is 6.0.
