sslack -Interested User- Posts: 3 Joined: Jun 27, 2005	Posted: Jun 28, 2005 03:08 PM Msg. 1 of 3 Hi, I really want to sign up for IQ Feed, but I need VIX Contract Data. This is a new instrument traded on the CFE (Chicago Futures Exchange - part of CBOE). The VIX is the S&P 500 Volatility contracts. Right now the only data provider I can find that carries the VIX is Esignal. I don't want to pay the outrageous fees eSignal charges. I was talking with IQ Feed Tech support and they stated that they might have CFE data in the near future, and they suggested I place a post in this forum. Could you please provide any comments or updates on IQ Feed obtaining CFE Data?? Thank You, Steve Slack

If so, we do carry it with a symbol of VIX.XO. Essentially, all CBOE Index symbols have a .XO exension to avoid symbol contention.
