I have installed Developer IQfeed 5.0.0.9 Beta, I see the sample applications that were installed.

However, I do not see the source code.

Where can I obtain the source code that matches the sample applications that were installed.

Also, what verision of Microsoft Basic/VisualC is this? 2008 version, 2010 version?

Thanks

Anil

By default, the dev SDK installs to your My Documents directory under DTN/IQFeed. You can change this directory during the installation.

Steve,

Yes, it did put the examples there. However all there is are the executables and no source code.

Is it possible to email them to me?

Thanks

Anil

The example apps executables should have been put into the IQFeed installtion directory (there is no option to change this). Are you certain that you are looking in your My Documents directory under DTN/IQFeed and not in your Program Files (or Program Files (x86)) directory?

BTW, none of this has changed since IQFeed 4.7 so if you had a previous version of the SDK installed, it should have installed the new version over the top of the old example apps in the same location.

Additionally, if you search your hard drive for the file IQFDev5009Uninst.exe, it should point you to the location of the example app source code.

Lastly, as an answer to your question I missed in the inital post, IQFeed distributes example apps using Visual Studio 2005 project and solution files. If you open those project/solution files with any newer version of Visual Studio (2008/2010/2012), the new version's conversion wizard should convert them and they will build fine.

Steve,

My apologies.

I have found them under the My Documents area, I was indeed searching in the program files area.

Thanks

Anil
