Data and Content Support » Short Interest Nov 27, 2011 03:07 PM (Total replies: 2)

Hello,

I know that the Short Interest is gathered from a 3rd party. Can you tell me what this/those sources are?

When is the short interest updated? Twice a month? If so, what specific dates?

Thanks

Data and Content Support » Nikkei Aug 15, 2011 11:29 AM (Total replies: 3)

But aren't these futures? Wouldn't NIK.X work during their (Japan's) "Open" market times?

Thanks

Data and Content Support » Nikkei Aug 14, 2011 11:49 PM (Total replies: 3)

What is the symbol that I need to watch for the Nikkei 225? During market hours I use NIK.X, however I want to monitor this during our "off hours". For example, I would like to know the Nikkei 225 index on a Sunday night, when the Nikkei market is LIVE.

Thanks

Data and Content Support » Real Time vs. Delayed Quotes Nov 29, 2010 09:40 AM (Total replies: 3)

Hello,

I am watching the following symbols and would like to know which are real time/delayed:

INDU.X - currently i know that this is real time based on my subscription
COMPX.X - currently i know that this is real time based on my subscription
SPX.XO - appears to be delayed
FIY.X - appears to be delayed
CAC.X - ?
DAX.X - ?
NIK.X - ?
MRVBA.X - ?
+SP# - ?
+CL# - ?
@QO# - ?

Can you confirm each as being Real Time or delayed? And for those that are delayed are there subscriptions that I can upgrade to get Real Time?

Thanks

Anil

Data and Content Support » Previous Closing price of CAC40 (CAC.X) Sep 8, 2009 11:48 AM (Total replies: 2)

Hello,

I have noticed that the CAC.X's previous close is always off by a slight amount. Can you explain why? For example the CAC.X's previous close is listed as 3657.000 (using IQFeed Watch Quote). However, other sources such as Yahoo/CNBC/Bloomberg all have the previous close as 3652.8301

Thanks

Anil

I often see that symbols come back as invalid during the hours of 12 AM EST till around 6 AM EST. Should I post a specific example of invalid symbol data?

Thanks

I've been using 4.0 for a little over a month now, and have not experienced this. I have since moved to the latest release which is 4.0.0.2 and have not experienced it in this either.

Data and Content Support » News Headline for specfic Symbol Example Sep 30, 2005 12:02 AM (Total replies: 1)

Hello,

Is there an example that anyone can give me to retrieve news for a particular symbol via the TCP/IP rather than the XML method?

I followed the example in the documentation as follows:

SN :(Item):(Types):(Indicator):(Date):(Limit);

Replacing (Item) with a symbol or key word, (Types) with a comma separated list of news distribution sources, (Indicator) with a "1" for symbols and a "0" for keywords, (Date) with a particular day to search on, or blank, and (Limit) with the maximum number of headlines to retrieve.

I understand ITEM, INDICATOR, DATE and LIMIT requestors but what do I put for TYPES?

Thanks

Anil

Data and Content Support » What are the symbols for the popular Indices? Sep 18, 2005 11:07 PM (Total replies: 7)

Hello,

I have downloaded the available list of symbols from DTN (296,000+).

I have found the Dow (INDU.X). However, I have yet to find the other common ones such as:

NASDAQ
S&P500
FTSE
CAC40
DAX

I need help in identifying all of the major world market indices.

Thanks

Data and Content Support » Server 66.112.156.224 Sep 5, 2005 10:28 AM (Total replies: 2)

Hello,

I noticed everyone else was becoming aware that the service is down. I first noticed it at exactly 12 AM on September 05, 2005. At first I thought it was me, becuase I have never seen it before, but this mornings postings confirm that it's not just me.

Is there a way to connect to another server manually? Does this mean that a select few are down or that everyone with an IQFEED is down?

thanks

Anil
