You can view the ReleaseNotes on the developer area of the website under "View API Documentation".
I would strongly suggest that you work with v4.0, as there were significant imrpovements to the socket and COM processing for lookups. Also, when we go out of BETA, you'll need to be coding off of the latest version. Thanks!

Natalie,
Did you get my email messages from Monday regarding the issues I'm having on v4?
Thanx.

Hi,
I did get your email...I've been out sick.
I can recreate the issue you are seeing with invalid symbols on history. (If you request an invalid symbol for history, and then a vaild one, the valid one returns data followed by an "invalid symbol" error message).
I have logged that issue as bug #2866. It looks like I missed some initialization during the restructuring that took place for 4.0.0.0. Thanks!
Natalie

--- Original message by DTN_Natalie_H on Sep 14, 2005 11:17 AM I thought that we could still use older versions once 4.0 came out? Your 4.0 doesn't work with SOCKS so it's impossible for me to use or support in any manner.

You can still use it. The old version just won't have any enhancements or fixes applied to it.

Thanks Natalie. I will look at 4.0. What is the plan to go live with it. I need to see if it fits our internal deadlines.

Luis,
Natalie is working on a bug that effects DTN.IQ and its ability to access news currently. Once we have a resolution for that, we will be releasing. I am hoping to release sometime next week if all goes well, but as you know - we may identify more problems that need to be resolved prior to general release.
