richinger -Interested User- Posts: 17 Joined: Nov 12, 2004	Posted: Nov 16, 2004 08:19 AM Msg. 1 of 2 I just received my 8080 receiver, to replace the 8000 receiver that was trashed last week. I now see that certain futures symbols that used to be refreshed (e.g. GC4Z) now no longer are ticking after market open, but their counterparts named "+GC4Z" are in fact ticking, and although I can't make the comparison, they appear to have the same prices as the "old style" tickers. What's going on here? I use Ensign for my PC software, and keep charts (daily as well as intraday) on most of the currently trading futures. Now it appears that without a massive effort on my part (copying each of the history files into an equivalent version prepended with a '+'), I will lose all of this data. I used DTN.IQ for the two days that I did not have a receiver, and the GC4Z symbol ticked very nicely in that feed. Is this a problem that I can fix here? Thanks in advance. richinger
DTN_Jay_Froscheiser -VP, Product Operations- Posts: 1746 Joined: May 3, 2004 DTN IQFeed/DTN.IQ/DTN NxCore	Posted: Nov 16, 2004 08:55 AM Msg. 2 of 2 GCZ4 (please make sure you have the format of the symbol as root monthcode year) is the pit session only. The + in front of the symbol will give you a combined session (day/night) in a single symbol. I show GCZ4 ticking away right now. Since both DTN.IQ and Satellite use the same feeds, the symbols are the same for futures. If you are receiving data on +GCZ4 but not GCZ4, it may have something to do with the Ensign symbol list (please verify the symbols in that list). I say this, because both of these symbols are authorized in the same database, so if you are getting data on one of these symbols, you should be getting data on both.
