"If someone needs the best quality data and backfill beyond what their broker provides at a rate that is the best in the industry, I highly recommend IQFeed." - Comment from Josh via Public Forum
"If you are serious about your trading I would not rely on IB data for serious daytrading. Took me a while to justify the cost of IQ Feed and in the end, it's just a 2 point stop on ES. Better safe than sorry" - Comment from Public Forum
"Thanks for the great product and support. During this week of high volume trading, my QuoteTracker + IQ Feed setup never missed a beat. Also, thanks for your swiftness in responding to data issues. I was on ******* for a few years before I made the switch over early this year, and wish I had done it a long time ago." - Comment from Ken

For some reason +BO#C is missing data for the end of last week. Both weekly and daily bars are affected; the last bars are for 5/23/2012 and a new bar was received today for 5/29/2012. We're not seeing this with any other commodities; just soybean oil back adjusted continuous.

Hello,

Thank you for letting us know. I have reported this for correction and will be back when we know more. For extra information, I do show the daily data there for BO#C and @BO#C.

Hello,

+BO#C is a back-adjusted continuous contract for a combination of pit and Globex soybean oil quotes.

@BO# is the normal continuous contract for Globex soybean oil quotes.

The normal continuous contract rolls to the front month without any adjustment of past prices. This type is usually used for viewing long-term charts.

The back-adjusted contract adjusts past prices at each roll to remove the appearance of any false gain or decline during the roll. The back-adjusted contracts are typically used for back-testing trading strategies.
